1. Objective
To decode the Alpha Immobilizer (Immo 1 & early Immo 2) system to generate a valid transponder key when the original key is lost or all keys are missing, without replacing the instrument cluster or ECU.
- Wrong Checksum – After modifying the eeprom, the checksum must be recalculated. Use automatic checksum fixers or the car will refuse to sync.
- Incorrect Chip Reading – Desoldering the chip too hot can corrupt data. Use a socket adapter or clip.
- Generation Mismatch – Treating an Alpha Immo 4 system with Immo 2 software will produce a valid-looking but incorrect PIN.
