Bellwright V0035772 Fixed May 2026

Crash Resolutions: Fixed several high-priority crashes, including those occurring when bandits sent out raiding parties, when characters or settlement names exceeded 256 characters, and particle-related crashes during smelting.

  1. Steam: Close and relaunch Steam. The update should auto-download (v0035772).
  2. Verification: In your game library, right-click Bellwright > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. This ensures no legacy bugged scripts remain.
  3. In-Game Check: Load your save. Open the pause menu. The version number in the bottom right corner must read v0.3.5.772 (v0035772).
  4. Old Saves: It is highly recommended to create a new manual save (not a quicksave) post-update. This “bakes in” the fixes.

3. Quest Logic Repair
