Legacy of the 2021 Archive Efforts

The preservation work done in 2021 had a lasting impact. When HBO Max later trimmed its animated catalog in 2022, many Ultimate Alien episodes disappeared from that platform. But because the Internet Archive had become a de facto backup, fans never lost access. Additionally, the high-quality rips and metadata created during this period were later used for fan restoration projects and even helped some international distributors release proper DVD box sets.
