Why Are Users Searching for Blued 3.6.0 APK?

You might wonder why someone would choose version 3.6.0 over a newer release. Several compelling reasons drive this demand:

Reason 3: Privacy Concerns

Newer versions of Blued request permissions for storage, camera, microphone, location (always), and even phone state. Version 3.6.0 asks for far fewer permissions—typically just location and storage. For users wary of data harvesting, the old APK feels like a lighter footprint.

Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources

  1. Open Settings on your Android device.
  2. Navigate to Security or Privacy (depending on your Android version).
  3. Toggle on Unknown Sources or Install from Unknown Apps.
  4. For Android 8.0+, you may need to grant permission specifically to your browser or file manager.

  • Hi Sandy,

I’ve come across some clients where this policy doesn’t seem to work. I’ve checked the registry keys and confirmed that the values are set as expected.

Client logs indicate that that the device is on a metred connection, when in reality it isn’t, it thinks it is on metered because there’s also a 4G connection – but that’s not being used.

The only way I could get the clients to talk again is by turning off the cellular connection. Is there any way to work around this?

    Thank you.
