એક દિવસ એક નાના સસલાનો વારો આવ્યો. સસલું બહુ ચતુર હતું. તે જાણીજોઈને મોડું ગયું. સિંહ ભૂખથી ગુસ્સે હતો. સસલાએ કહ્યું, "મહારાજ, રસ્તામાં મને બીજો એક સિંહ મળ્યો હતો, જે પોતાને જંગલનો રાજા કહેતો હતો."
