Method 1: USB Installation (Easiest)

  1. Download the GTAV-UPDATE-1.27-BLES01807.pkg file.
  2. Copy it to the root of your USB drive.
  3. Plug the USB into your PS3 (rightmost port is most reliable).
  4. Navigate to Package Manager → Install Package Files → Standard (or USB).
  5. Select the 1.27 PKG. Press X to install.
  6. Wait for the installation to finish (approx. 90 seconds).
  7. Do not launch the game yet.
