Upgrading from 3.5.5.2 to a Modern Calibration
If you are building a high-performance Honda (turbo D-series or all-motor B18), the 3.5.5.2 firmware is too restrictive. Its MAP sensor resolution is limited to 1 bar (atmospheric). It cannot read boost. It also has a hard-coded rev limiter at 7,200 RPM.
What’s New / Improved
- Stable CAN communication – Fixes intermittent connection drops on 2016–2019 Civic, CR-V, and Accord.
- Faster VIN auto-detection – Reduced scan time by ~30% compared to 3.5.5.0.
- Better K-Line support – Resolves failed initialization on pre-2006 models (e.g., 2002 RSX, 2004 Odyssey).
- Fixed DTC clearing bug – Previous version sometimes failed to clear permanent codes on 2018+ Pilot.
