Method B: Manual driver installation

  1. Download the .exe or .zip driver package.
  2. Right-click the installer → PropertiesCompatibility → Set to "Windows 10" (sometimes helps).
  3. Run as Administrator.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do NOT connect the HYC monitor until prompted (or unplug it if already connected).
  5. After installation, restart your PC.
  6. Plug the HYC monitor back in. Windows 11 should now detect it as an extended display.

If you must use this driver, follow these steps to maximize stability on Windows 11:

Q: Is there an open-source driver? A: Not fully stable. The udl driver for Linux exists, but on Windows, you are stuck with proprietary drivers.
