Hackintosh — Intel Uhd Graphics 730
The Intel UHD Graphics 730 is currently unsupported for macOS hardware acceleration on a Hackintosh. This integrated GPU (iGPU), introduced with 11th Gen Rocket Lake and 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs, uses the XeLP architecture, which was never used by Apple in their Intel-based Macs.
No Quartz Extreme/Core Image acceleration, making the OS nearly unusable for daily tasks. Resolution Issues: intel uhd graphics 730 hackintosh

- Lilu + WhateverGreen are required for graphics patching and framebuffer injection.
The Technical Hurdle: Missing Native Support
macOS does not natively support the Intel UHD 730. The Intel UHD Graphics 730 is currently unsupported
8) Testing and verification
- Boot with verbose and check kernel logs for igfx/Intel graphics initialization.
- In macOS System Report -> Graphics/Displays, verify the iGPU is recognized with the injected device-id and that “Intel” shows Metal acceleration and correct VRAM.
- Run a small Metal or Metal-based benchmark (e.g., Novabench, gfxInfo) or a web-based WebGL test to verify hardware acceleration.
- Check logs for WhateverGreen messages: it reports framebuffer patch applied or device-id spoofing.
Important Disclaimer
- Hackintosh legality: macOS is licensed only for Apple hardware. Building a Hackintosh violates Apple's EULA.
- UHD Graphics 730 compatibility: Intel's 12th/13th/14th Gen (Alder Lake/Raptor Lake) iGPUs are not supported in macOS. Apple never used these chips, so no drivers exist.
What it does: It attempts to inject older drivers or universal patches to resolve the "7MB VRAM" issue. Lilu + WhateverGreen are required for graphics patching
