Ir2110 Library For Proteus 8 Link [upd] May 2026
The IR2110 is a high-speed, high-voltage power MOSFET and IGBT driver with independent high- and low-side referenced output channels. It is widely used in applications like H-bridges, motor drivers, and pure sine wave inverters because it can drive n-channel MOSFETs on both the high and low sides. Key Specifications Output Current: 2.5 A (peak).
- VCC (Pin 3): Connect to a DC source (typically 12V or 15V).
- Bootstrap Capacitor: Connect a capacitor (e.g., 10uF - 47uF) between VB (Pin 6) and VS (Pin 5). This capacitor charges when the Low-Side MOSFET is on and provides power to the High-Side driver when the High-Side MOSFET switches on.
- Inputs: Apply PWM signals to LIN and HIN. Ensure the logic ground (VSS) is connected to the microcontroller ground.
- Dead Time: The IR2110 does not internally generate dead time (preventative logic to avoid shoot-through). You must generate complementary PWM signals with dead time from your microcontroller (e.g., Arduino or PIC) code.
Good News for Proteus 8.13+ Users:
If you are using Proteus 8.13 SP0 or newer, the IR2110 is natively included. ir2110 library for proteus 8 link
If the IR2110 is missing from your Proteus installation, you can add it manually using third-party library files. The IR2110 is a high-speed, high-voltage power MOSFET
