The user interface is organized into three primary task-based views that dynamically update as you work:
. Here, you specify the page grid—such as 4 pages across and 2 down—and the binding style. Apply a Fold Pattern:
Search for or select a suitable Fold Pattern (e.g., 16-page right-angle fold). Drag and Drop:
Step 2: Set the Imposition Style
- Click the Layout tab in the ribbon.
- Click New Layout.
- A dialog appears. Select Signature (a folded group of pages).
- For Binding Style, choose Perfect Bound.
- For Page per Sheet, choose 16 pages per sheet (4-up, 4-down on front and back).
- Preps automatically calculates the folding pattern. You’ll see a preview.
