- A USB drive ≥ 8 GB.
- A downloaded copy of
Install macOS Sierra.app(version 10.12.x) or older versions down to OS X Mavericks (10.9). - Target PC hardware: Intel CPU, UEFI or legacy BIOS mode, compatible motherboard chipset (Intel 6/7/8/9/100 series).
- Load Optimized Defaults.
- Disable: VT-d (unless you have DMAR table), CFG Lock, Secure Boot, CSM (if using UEFI mode).
- Set SATA Mode to
AHCI(not RAID or Intel RST). - Set OS Type to
Other OS. - Boot Priority: USB drive first.
